Cainan
So to steer the discussion back on track... the last one nominated was Boston... The Hit: Simply Bad A** And the Miss: A bit too bad a**... needs some more red or even white / silver because from a distance of more than about 5 feet, the corps looks all black and about 3 feet tall. Next Up...Star of Indiana (nothing stated that this had to be all modern corps) Edited March 26, 2015 by Cainan

StarOrg
This one was tough. I stayed away from the original pinks. Not so much a fan. Hit: 1991 Miss: 1993. Final year a tad to bland. Next up... Glassmen

I thought these were amazing uniforms and completely appropriate for the program.

losnickes
I apologize for not being able to post pictures. I'm on my phone so it won't let me. But I will post links. But anyway, time for Glassmen: The hit: 2009-2011 http://media2.theranking.com/card/2769070/image/5074974ba3fdc339efec54bc14ef83c0/resize_image.jpg One of the best looks seen in the history of the activity. Interestingly enough, it didn't take much to turn that massive hit into a big miss. The miss: 2012 http://www.marching.com/photos/2012-dci-minnesota-corps-photos/glassmen-2012a.jpg Next up: Mandarins

It looks nearly identical to the hit
xandandl
re: "Miss: 1993. Final year a tad to bland" Wasn't this uniform intended to be minimalistic so to, for the time, align with and accent the unusual drill and body visuals John VD wrote for the program? I am remembering some such commentary in his description of the show and visuals. It definitely worked IMO.
