BRASSO
Forgot to add years 2010--- to 2014: 2014...... BD ( not my favorite show of the era, and not a big fan of the theme.. but the excellence was undeniable, and BD was in a class all by themselves, imo ). Tim K
For the 80's my vote goes to 1989 SCV. I loved what they did with "Phantom of the Opera" a show I found beautiful with great appeal. For the 90's, Zingali's masterpiece, Star of Indiana 1991 gets my vote. For 2000-2006, Cavies 2002 is a worthy candidate. For 2007 to the present, I am a bit torn between 2013 Crown and 2014 BD.while BD did have the highest score of all time and I loved the show, a Crown was able to draw the crowd in a bit better. Perhaps being in the audience when they won sways me a bit, but I will go with 2013 Crown.
Slingerland
70s - 76 Blue Devils 80s - 83 Garfield (84 is a better show in some ways, but '83 created the new mold) 90s - Star '93. Put it out there today, and it still works 00s - '03 Cavaliers. It's the best of that group of Rosemont shows, better than '02 in most ways. 10s....not done yet. We'll have to wait a few years to know Edited June 14, 2015 by Slingerland

Ghost
I think you and I both know why you chose 2000-2006 as an era. That didn't take too long!
HornTeacher
Going against the flow in some cases... 1970's: 1st) 27th Lancers '79 2nd) Anaheim Kingsmen '72 (Yes...even in spite of "M-I-C-K-E-Y, M-O-U-S-E ) 1980's: 1st) Blue Devils '86 2nd) Cadets '83 1990's: 1st) Star '91 2nd) (Tie) PR '96 and Star '93 2000-2006: 1st) Cavs '01 2nd) Cavs '02 2007-Present: 1st) BD '14 2nd) PR '08 (I want to dislike this show. RobRoy
I've been grilling chicken (and all that entails) the past couple of hours so don't hold me to these in the morning. But on first thought: 70's = 76 Blue Devils 80's = 85 Cadets (Though 89 Cadets is my favorite) 90's = 91 Star Watched that one on TV with a bunch of Cadets, Suncoasters, and various others and we were all amazed. Beautiful show! And about half a dozen from 92 would make a short list of my favorites. 2000's = Pick you favorite from the Cav's. They weren't my cup of tea (loved their shows from the 80's and 90's) but they were so darn good. I should also check the years for some of Crown's stuff mid to late 00's. Wow! I was supposed to split up the 2000's I guess, but meh. I'd end up choosing Cadets 2001 and one of those great Crown shows and shafting the Cavs all together, and they were too fantastic for that. 2010's = I'll be a homer and go with Cadets 2014. Not well designed to the sheets, or those that love still love sitting down low, but I thought that was the Cadets doing Americana like only they can do. Performed lights out. Blue Coats could easily reach that last year, and any show by BD. Loved SCV's Les Mis too.
BRASSO
Going against the flow in some cases... 1970's: 1st) 27th Lancers '79 Yes, I'd have loved to put 27th Lancers here too. Loved their shows. Guess I was asked " best ", so had to choose another above from this era. But I like your choice anyway, HornTeacher.
