chris ncsu
here is the best video on youtube for Cadets 2007 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9LLcYiznIY semifinals day recording - spliced together from rehearsal that day I was at the rehearsal - corps was so intense. This was the day after they were rudely booed by the drunk crowd at the Rose Bowl. And that night they lost to BD by the skin of their teeth -- were this close to playing last on finals night.
chris ncsu
Google search brought up a link to Reddit with the opener sans narration, but that's all I saw. I swear their preseason CD that year had both with and without voices on it. (Or was that 2008?) Mike had that in 2008 at least
drummergirl
I listen to 07 and the narration doesn't. Uh me anymore. Perhaps I've tuned it out because of how good the hornline is. However, I can't listen to the 08 show and over look it. I usually just like to watch the closer drill. I have the audio download from Fan Network which was semis. They changed the narration near the end of the show as compared to Prelims. Which version was finals?
kdaddy
I remember reading on DCP that there was a late season show where the narration didn't work. "...DRUM CORPS!"
Cappybara
Here we go - http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/index.php/topic/98504-the-cadets-2007-horns-drums-guard-and-drill/?p=1873853 Of course, they're not sold by YEA anymore, but that may give you a starting place to search. Mike Thanks everyone for the info! Especially this. Now that I know there ARE recordings somewhere out there in the wild, I'll see if I can seek it out! ShortAndFast
here is the best video on youtube for Cadets 2007 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9LLcYiznIY semifinals day recording - spliced together from rehearsal that day I was at the rehearsal - corps was so intense. This was the day after they were rudely booed by the drunk crowd at the Rose Bowl. Their semis performance was amazing that night. One of the most intense Cadets performances I have ever seen. It's the only time that year the narration really clicked for me - the corps was absolutely on fire, and you could hear it as the performers talked. BD was kind of "meh" on Friday night that year, I was really surprised the Cadets didn't jump over them.
troon8
Wasn't there a video of the hornline playing a pretty amazing alternate ending from that year that used to be on YouTube? Does anyone else remember that?
BlueByYou2000
This was an incredible show. Man what a Corps.

Scadesfan
The preseason cd does have a version of the show without narration. I have a copy. 2007 was my sons age out year. He was a mello in that fantastic horn line.
