Nothing against those corps, but being in a different show from Minneapolis may be the only reason why they are that high up. On the other hand, I love that they have the opportunity to move up the rankings this season because of a favorable line up at this regional! luv4corps
In my 5 years of being a crazy obsessed fan of drum corps I've never seen scores and show orders so all over the place as this year. Not saying it's a good thing or a bad thing - just - all over the place! Edited July 12, 2015 by luv4corps
seen-it-all
For those wondering how the performance order was determined, and don't feel like clicking the link, here is how it was done...... Results from DCI Minnesota (Minneapolis) and Drums Along the Rockies (Denver) on Saturday, July 11, determine the performance order for the DCI Southwestern Championship in San Antonio. Once seeded in score order, corps were drawn at random in groups of three (First through third, fourth through sixth, etc.).

Popular Post Pit Dad
I think it's about time for the activity to have some changes happening in the top 12. I love the fact that Troopers, Colts, and Academy are trying to break in and shake things up. Whether their scores hold past this week or not, you can't say this is not helping the activity by having all this conversation going on. These groups work really hard to try to keep up with the changing activity yet put on a program that the crowd will enjoy and somewhat understand (compared to others near the top). You may not like all the electronics, singing, talking, etc. but these corps are trying to play by the rules yet continue to be something the crowd can talk about when they leave the stadium. Go get 'em Troop, Colts, and Academy!

Yes maybe a little bit but they'll hold their own.BK followed Bloo last night and more than held up their end of the bargain and have marched side by side of SCV and BD for Cali tour. I think they'll fit it a bit better than others. I feel it's going to be harder for Academy and Colts to follow BStars, Madison and Boston. That's a tough spot, but both corps are much much better than previous years. Fun, if nothing else it's going to keep people in their seats and not wanting to take a break. So many great corps all spread out. Cool, can't wait
