BRASSO
Help a newbie out: Many years ago, playing down front like that would get deductions for out of bounds, correct? That being said -- WOW! Nice sound!!! Yes... but its ok to do so now... Corps are considerably larger now too

CrownBariDad
The pit is on the field behind the front sideline... so the corps comes into the traditional "pit" space Yes, I saw that. But the brass was past the sideline which is OK in this day and time, but would have incurred points in the distant past. Yes or no?

soccerguy315
Crossmen Impact points still need a little more oomph I think... But there is time to get there

DCPusername
I'm talking about BITD. I'm pretty sure just stepping on the sideline was a deduction. Current rule gives them 15 feet in front of the sideline to use as they like. DM's are another set of rules (almost anywhere is fair game for "conductor only" members).

That is correct....in fact when grounding equopmemt first became legal it was grounded on the field but the support crew had to pass it to a member because neither could cross the front line without pulling a penalty

Yes or no? You are correct. I forget the year the rules changed to allow marching over the sideline, but it used to be prohibited
