oldbandguy
The Tour of Champions moves to North Carolina tonight. Don't think there will be any doubt who the crowd favorite will be at this one. Congrats to the Crown folks for getting to do your home show following an impressive win in Atlanta. Competing corps: (in order of performance) Cadets Scouts Cavaliers (hopefully) Phantom Regiment Blue Devils BLUECOATS Vanguard Crown Judges: (none from the Atlanta panel) GE 1 F Morris GE 2 A Cook VP T Gray VA S Sybliski CG C Moss BR J Harper BA C Phillips P G Howarth Will we see 5 different caption winners as we did last night? BRASSO
It's the first TOC show that includes all the Champions! Yay! Yes, the Bluecoats were once Champions in the Open Class Division of DCI, so this is indeed an accurate comment.
cube
Can you imagine how wild the crowd will be for Crown tonight? Home show, came off a huge win in Atlanta... it ought to give Crown a whole lot of confidence and energy. (Though never in my wildest dreams would I think of a crowd this enthusiastic: http://media.giphy.com/media/3o85xK2BEpLJeluqhq/giphy.gif )

Corpsreps lists them competing in what was once open which became world all through their history, but does not list any championship. They are not listed as competing in "Class A" either. Well, if the ToC had to include all active World Class corps who once won in another class, they'd also need to add: --Mandarins (A-60 in 1987 and 1988; Div. III in 1992, 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999; Div. II in 2001); --Blue Stars (A-60 in 1989; Div. III in 1993, 2001, and 2003); --Pioneer (A-60 in 1991; Div. II in 1994 and 1995); --Cascades (Div. III in 2000); --Oregon Crusaders (Div. III in 2004; Open Class in 2012); and --Academy (Div. II in 2006).
corpsband
It's the first TOC show that includes all the Champions! Yay! Of course you meant to say "All of the TOC corps". Some DCP posters will ALWAYS ignore your obvious intent and twist to the absurd :-)
