Shuffle Off To Buffalo (TOC 8/2)

Then their score should be affected. Right?

Yes... generally we find that when things seem to go wrong on the field, inexplicably, the scores go up. This phenomenon means the malfunction could be GREAT news tonite for the Bluecoats to close the gap even further. Stay tuned. Lets see if the malfunction recovery is awarded more points for the recovery than for the malfunction loss of the intended movement itself.

They won't get penalized for electrical failures but the GE will probably suffer a little since it's a big part of their effect.

Vanguard did.

Looks like the Cadets used the tarps to make all the yard markers "10".

Unfortunate with the electronics problem tonight...GE could take a small hit tonight.

Hopefully a problem that will be fixed by tomorrow night. They did get it corrected

for the second half.

Actually considering how many shows and rehearsal days there have been the number of

electronic issues haven't been that many over the course of the season, but

"things" happen.

Other corps have experienced them too, but....

cue the anti-electronics choir

Are you new here?

They haven't done it every show. Only in professional football stadiums because the field numbers aren't in the same places they are in college or HS stadiums.

I guess if electronics are so integral a part of some of the shows, more care has to be taken to have some backup, whether that's power, channels, cables, circuit boards, devices, or whatever.

It would be devastating to have a problem that cannot be fixed, right before finals.
