TubaJon
Post them here. 1. BD 2. Crown 3. Bloo 4. Cadets 5. SCV 6. Blue Knights 7. Phantom 8. Cavies 9. Scouts 10. Boston 11. Blue Stars 12. Crossmen How it should be IMO 1. BD-Better overall package 2. Bloo- Why not? 3. Cadets- Harder content than anyone. They should be rewarded. 4. Crown- What a disappointing year for their content. Uber safe music, and only march just over 3 minutes of their show. 5. SCV- High brass if you ask me. 6. Knights-Not a show that I can connect with. 7. Cavies- They are coming back! 8. Scouts- Boy did they get their butt in gear! 9. Phantom-Better than everyone says they are. 10. Stars-Stellar percussion and guard. Their brass is just almost just as good. 11. Boston-Please dial the drums back a bit so I can hear the brassline. 12. Colts-Because I said so! :)

Can I pleaseeee be there when you say that to Matt Harloff's face? I'll have my popcorn ready to go!
Crownfan33
Can I pleaseeee be there when you say that to Matt Harloff's face? I'll have my popcorn ready to go! I'll join you there. I may be a Crown homer, but good lord have you seen their show live? You've lost your mind.
Kamarag
How it should be IMO 5. SCV- High brass if you ask me. LOL wut? That brass line isn't in the same league with BD/Crown or Cadets/Bluecoats. Shoot, they weren't nearly as good as Blue Knights. What were you listening to?
mboogey73
Actually agree with the placements, but not the rationale.
Crownfan33
Probably not how it will happen but my opinion is: 1. Carolina Crown 2. Bluecoats 3. Blue Devils 4. Cadets 5. Santa Clara Vanguard 6. Blue Knights 7. Cavaliers 8. Madison Scouts 9. Phantom Regiment 10. Blue Stars 11. Crossmen 12. Boston Crusaders I'm actually really leaning torwards putting Cadets in 3rd and BD in 4th. BD show just doesn't do it for me this year (personal opinion) Brass: Crown all the way Percussion: Cadets (SCV a #### close 2nd if not first) Guard: Crown (maybe BD but I don't think it'll happen come finals night) GE: Crown (Bluecoats really close 2nd maybe even 1st)

TubaJon
Yeah yeah yeah, I have seen the almighty Carolina Crown this year. Fact: They march approximately only 4 minutes and 26 seconds of their show. The rest is body and standing still. How does that stack up against lower corps who are marching 9 or 10 minutes of their 12 minute show? Time it yourself if you want lol The only argument you can make there is whether or not body movement is harder than marching. I also believe that if you think the technical content of their music is on par or harder than last year, you are lying to yourself. In comparison to what we know CC can and should do, this brass book does not meet up with that. Don't get me wrong, I actually like the show, but in my brain, it is simply not challenging enough to take gold this season.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to play clasher chords in tune, balanced, and at that volume? Their brass is super exposed this year, the body movement is harder because it's more intricate than marching and it has to be just as clean. Your points are ridiculous and I haven't even talked about your thoughts on other corps
