c.l. Posted August 3, 2015 Share Posted August 3, 2015 Nobody's complaining about BDs visual... Blue Devils are probably going to win visual. They are superb. What exactly are you even trying to say? I get that you don't like their show this year, and I know I don't like BDs. But I'm still blown away by BDs performances and execution of their design. You should never down talk excellence. No matter what corps you're a honk for. Sure, I give BD the business all the time. At least I admittedly respect them. Point being that you can disagree with Crown deserving gold. That doesn't mean they actually don't, though. Doesn't matter if the show was easy or not. Edit: why don't we move this to Crown thread. This is for predictions. He's saying that they're clean but he thinks the drill is not interesting. As a homer, I have to slightly agree with that opinion. I'm not in a position to say it's easier, but it's my one disappointment this year that they don't really move beyond the back hash mark. As such, in comparison to "winning and/or memorable drills in DCI" it's not one of them. Am I allowed to think that as a Crown honk? But sure, it would be nice to have another win. Because Cappybara. (not as good as 2014, but better than anyone else in 2015) (IMHO) 2.Cadets - Strong in all major captions. (CG is a a bit weak but the way scores are factored will not hurt them like Crown's percussion will hurt Crown) .95 behind BD 3. Bluecoats - Will pass Crown in the end. Better show .15 behind Cadets 4. Crown - Having the loudest fans does not win you the title. Having the 6th best percussion section will lose it though. 50/50 chance of breaking BD's best CG streak .025 behind Bloo 5. SCV - Could not get that drill clean. may win drums again, but it is going to be a fight. 1.5 behind Crown. Of course I could be wrong, but I am pretty certain BD will win quarters, semis and Finals with the spread growing each night. 2-4 who knows. So close Bloo - very close but falls just a bit short Cadets - if black unis don't help win, why the change? BK - has the shows of their lives SCV - doesn't have the shows of their lives Phantom - hangs on, disappointing the fail predictors Boston - keeps surging Madison - slowed down Cavies - just misses holding off Madison Crossmen - fights off Cltsvand BS Blue Stars - makes it in Colts -near miss Troopers - couldn't catch back up Top four within 1.35 Last Four (11-14) within 2.0 Just guesses. Thanks for a great year everyone.
