Fred Windish
OOOOOOKAY . . . . . and by watching on TV, I couldn't hear all that annoying corps warm-up stuff emanating from all over the park! How'd you like that, Big Guy?
Sideways
I remember watching Cadets perform in Allentown in '99 right before heading back down for retreat and all you could hear was Blue Devils warming up in the park...think it was Duel of the Fates. You could not move that hornline far enough away!!

I'm not too sure there IS a solution, short of banning all nearby warm-ups after certain time. Question for drummers: When a section warms-up an hour before their performance, what exactly are the instructors hoping to accomplish? Is it to get muscles working, improve stick heights, finish off new music?

How'd you like that, Big Guy? former mayor of Pineville (RIP) Ron Beyer always said "those trees didn't grow without help!"

truman
Great job, spot on as always! Now that the kids are grown, we have been thinking about doing Pineville, (been through there for a couple quick visits in the past). We love Pondburg, but perhaps next year...
