N.E. Brigand
Someone else can start the thread for O.C. Finals, but I'll note that the lineup indeed features the top twelve O.C. corps plus all three I.C. corps. With a five-hour drive Tuesday afternoon, my posting time is limited, but if you're at Finals and want to say hello, I'll be wearing a Legends "Edmund Fitzgerald" tee shirt. Eleran
Just saw this picture on DCI from Open Class Prelimns, not having seen Vanguard Cadets show yet this season: Gotta say that Hell looks more inviting than heaven ...
DrumManTx
Periscope's of these two Taiwanese groups are VERY impressive! Chien Kuo's a high school and they did a not watered down if any same arrangement as Vanguard 2003 Orawa opener and drum feature/closer! Very impressive indeed. Frank B Mulvaney
I have been an observer of this facinating activity since the 60s(and 12 year volunteer for the Cadets) and having seen Gold three times here in SoCal, I can say with confidence that never has there been a finer 31st ranked corps in the history of the activity. This reflects the growth in size and quality of today's corps. The future looks bright, indeed. Could not believe the quality of the Vanguard Cadet program. To achieve their level with yoinger kids and less rehearsal than the big boys is remarkable . It is a testament to the skill and talent of the staff. They should easily make 19th or maybe 18th in quarers.
luv4corps
Prelim scores for Vanguard Cadets are just a point and a half short of Academy's most recent score. Academy ranks 15 right now in WC. BDB, if score placement holds, would also be above Spirit, Mands, OC and so on. Is this legit? Are we going to have open class corps finishing in the 15 and 16 spots this year? Are these corps suddenly just that much better? It should also be noted that their scores have just soared in the last two weeks, at a much quicker pace than any of the world class corps in their scoring range. Nothing against the achievement of SCVC and BDB - just fantastic - but how is this possible? Edited August 5, 2015 by luv4corps
Northern Thunder
Is this legit? BDB finishing in 15th last year was fully warranted. They were incredible!
