Phantom Regiment 2016

Recommended Posts

Not sure if it's been posted on here but I saw props on the field in their snapchat story last night.

I noticed that also. Looks like the move to the front and are used as podiums for soloist, throughout the snapchat.

It's meh.

After all the personal beef you've told me over private message about that you have with Phantom Regiment's staff, I can't take any of your comments about the corps seriously anymore.

With horns up - will you be able to see the red from the stands?

And the guard uniform looks great on her.

Historically I have almost always loved their guard costuming, going waaay back to the 80's. They tend to look very elegant and classy most years.

Was just looking for videos from the dress runs last night, and saw that someone posted the 2006 show a few days ago. Decided to watch it because it had been a while. Man, it just oozes elegance. The way the arrangements breathe, and take their time reaching a logical conclusion is just so nice to listen to. Love this show.

That mellophone line was incredible. It's unfortunate that this type of programming probably wouldn't do too well 10 years later.

Man, 1:35 - 2:15 is just some of the most lyrical flag work I think Adam Sage has ever put on a football field. So much musicality and nuance - still probably my favourite guard moment from 2006.

Why so? Very similar thematically to (though not the depth of) Crown's show last year.
