2015 Drum Corps Associates World Championships Preliminary Competition

Recommended Posts

difficult production to pull off in jump jive and wail. tempo is odd. too fast to sound good. too slow to create energy and emotion. love the yellow flags here at the end colorguard.

That was a fun show! I did get a kick outta the bass prop and the use of the space. Hurcs played well!

I really liked the Hurc's show. The brass sounded good and blended well with the drums. The guard seemed well synched to the show also. However the movement on the field was slow by modern standards. Walking instead of running around the field. The Corps was a little smaller than in the past also. But it sounded great to me.

Palladio by Jenkins, Karl

The Frozen Cathedral by Mackey, John

Good point from Lois Tierney. Two southern corps are doing winter shows this year.

Both are also performing John Mackey's The Frozen Cathedral.
