KVG_DC
One of these is not like the other. Aside from the obvious ocean theme...I wonder what they're planning for visually. It seems a bit of a departure musically from the "fun times" shows they've done recently.
DrumManTx
Don't understand why would announce something that is still pending license approval.
Quad Aces
Don't understand why would announce something that is still pending license approval. How can that hurt them?
Kamarag
How can that hurt them? If that licence is denied, or requires alteration beyond what that want to do or can afford, they look like dopes. Additionally, it's an indicator that they are already rehearsing the arrangement (the rights to which they have apparently secured), so if they get denied, they've just wasted a whole lot of time and effort...and look like dopes. Most arrangers won't even start work until both arranging and performance rights are acquired. Well, they aren't *supposed* to at any rate. mingusmonk
How can that hurt them? I don't see how it hurts. It doesn't hurt Cadets for Hopkins to throw stuff at the wall. It might be a little late in the game to be undecided. On the other hand, has anybody listened to it? You could definitely achieve the same feel and impression without using the source material. Yozviak used La Mer as the show for West Chester University 2015 show, and now Spirit is doing it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gK0SLB48nZ8

Yeah, with how things are going right now, I'd definitely be making sure that all my bases are covered! On the other hand anything based on La Mer or Debussy = .
