smiler
Thanks for all your help folks. Now booked in at the Crowne Plaza. It seems close to everything and should be fine for me as a first time visitor to the Lucas Oil Stadium. Cheers.

Absolutely Sweet Marie
Here it is, no charge to help someone. https://aws.passkey.com/g/51428890 Thank you for posting the link! Considering I was at work and supposed to actually be working instead of making hotel reservations, an actual link was very helpful!
ibexpercussion
If you want the least amount of walking to the stadium then: -Holiday Inn Express Indianapolis Downtown City Centre -Staybridge Suites Indianapolis City Centre -Comfort Suites City Centre -Several of the others already mentioned. Also, if you don't mind paying for a cab back in the evening, there are several options a little further away from the stadium that are much cheaper. Many of these offer shuttles to Lucas Oil during the day, but don't run back that late in the evening.
cf144
Why do so few of the hotels have rooms available Wednesday night? I find it hard to believe they are sold out so far in advance. I;ve stayed at Embassy Suites downtown every year since the first year at LOS (and am a Silver HHonors member) and have never had trouble booking my room before.
