sched88
I was excited to see the black uniforms last year but was not impressed with them when I saw them on the field. The Cadets' movement seemed less noticeable because of the black. Honestly, the only corps that looked good in black was Phantom Regiment in my opinion. Those uniforms looked sharp.

They looked and sounded terrific. But that was 2015. On to the new season! Edited March 7, 2016 by drumcorpsfever

DCF- Are you referring to the black sound-thwarting curtains hung on all but the audience side of LOS? I had that sense that in such a large arena against that black, the substitute uniforms made the MMs look small. Most of us agreed that they all masked most of the corps' strengths and in fact exposed other problems. I watched all LOS performances from a vantage just above the judges' box. I saw what they viewed.

I saw them at Chester (for the reveal) and at Allentown and thought they looked "slower" than when I saw them on video in the traditional uniforms. I like the cream pants because of the way their legs look when marching.
