N.E. Brigand
Such a senseless and tragic loss of a young life. I hope that when they catch the gunman [ . . . ] FYI, it has been announced that the alleged killer (bizarre twist: he's a Marine) was arrested earlier today.

JimF-LowBari
Just sad reading this as have two nieces around that age away at college. On a side note wonder who with NY Daily News ha a corps connection. When George Parks of the Buccs died few year back they ran a big pic of the scoreboard honoring him. (He passed away a day or so before his UMass band was to perform at a game.)

xandandl
My condolences to all who knew her. I had seen her photo on several corps' sites but was most surprised when here in Greater NYC, CBS evening news last night related the story with a photo of her holding the DCI field cone. Peel Paint
Yes, unspeakably tragic, and as the Scouts said on their Facebook page, Sara, may you never walk alone.

I had seen her photo on several corps' sites but was most surprised when here in Greater NYC, CBS evening news last night related the story with a photo of her holding the DCI field cone. Yes, horribly tragic - thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. I saw that picture on Good Morning America (ABC) this past Sunday morning, and tried to find the connection. Nothing was said on DCP at that time, but I'm glad to see that now it has. Again, a terrible and senseless tragedy.

BRASSO
She was much too young to die, and nobody should die as she did. Condolences to her Family and Friends, and to those in the Madison Scouts and throughout the DCI community that knew her.
