C2 vs everyone

Recommended Posts

well sigh back at you 72bach. (i had a '79, now still play my '75yamaha) the original question is if C2 wins and since C2 is specific age, can the next best all age be declared the all age winner. It would be cool having 2 winners. No? And class A.

DCA's definition of "all age" doesn't mean all corps have to be open to all ages, it means the corps can set their own age requirements. There's no need for another winner.

so if the Bux get a trophy,

and C2 get a trophy for the "not all-age, all-age division"

and you have a class A division trophy...

whats the fourth trophy for?

the " Underage Division "

I watched a DCI corps concert and they looked older than a DCA corps I saw live.

I don't think there is really that much of an advantage to capping the age limit of a corps.

Sure the younger "kids" might be able to do more physically and fitness wise, but then you lack the maturity, musicality, and experience you would get from "adults."

So is it really that big of an "advantage" against the typical all-age corps?

Honestly, I can't answer that. But I'm sure we will get quite of few opinions on this forum!
