AlexLeeDrums
It seems Regiment has a rather handsome red drum finish. https://youtu.be/PrFnNX1Mj3Q?t=35m21s Those look great! Are those short stack quads though?
hughesmr
Those look great! Are those short stack quads though? Yeah, it looks that way. I wish they'd "man up" on tenor depth like SCV has ... or even the Regiment lines from 78-82. THOSE were tenors.

THOSE were tenors. The short stacks definitely lack in the sound quality department. Phantom quads in the Rennick days were by far my favorite sound, as well as SCV pretty much any year. Beefy sound. littlejaw
The Cavaliers have some kind of white drums right now. You can seen in the underside of the slips in a photo posted recently. The corps does have a sponsorship with ON2, so maybe they are slip-less currently.

Ludwig tenors with scoops from 1977 - 1982 had a great distinct "thunk" sound that I loved & still miss. Nothing sounds like those did.

Tuned to minor intervals, IIRC. A distinctive voice.
