ajlemm
It took me several views before I saw the Dali rendering of Don Quixote on the shell. Pretty sweet.

xandandl
Did they license the image? Brasso said it was ok. In case of jailing, Ghost will be the warden. Piece of cake, with baked beans and chowdah.
mingusmonk
Did they license the image? Are they reproductions? Seem Dali-inspired, but not exactly copies.
Ghost
Did they license the image? No problems since the new Executive Director is an attorney.
old skool drmmr
Boston's look cool. Didn't realize they switched to Yamaha. This pic was posted in the uniform thread. I love these! The chrome Pearl logo on the snares is a nice touch. Edited June 9, 2016 by old skool drmmr
hughesmr
SCV's new finish can be clearly seen in the June 7 Backstage on their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/SCV/?fref=ts Strangely, they look very similar to Regiment...
gak27
For the FB-impaired and for a close to side-by-side comparison w/ the PR pic... Couldn't decide which part of the battery showed the finish the best, went with the tenors:
LabMaster
Did they license the image? I hope I didn't double up on this post reply. Was the question about Boston being licensed so they can market and sell souvies with this imaging on it? Or was the question more for Boston having approval to use the image. I think using the image on equipment is Yamaha's responsibility as the manufacturer of the equipment. I guess that would be if the imagery on drums or anything else is a duplicate of someone's copyrighted imagery.

Couldn't decide which part of the battery showed the finish the best, went with the tenors: Super classy and elegant. Love it! And I think they're all the same players from last year.
