BRASSO
Everyone who likes more traditional drum corps is going to love SCV this year. Its really the only show that sticks to the old era. How the heck would you possibly know who are the people that like SCV this year. My second favorite show this season is the Bluecoats, and there is nothing at all " traditional " about their show. I don't consider SCV's show tradiitional either..... not musically, not visually. One Corps in SCV placement pecking order mix is playing a song that has been played over 8 times before by 8 previous Corps. On top of another song played multiple times before as well. Thats about as musically " traditional " and rehashed as it gets, imo. SCV musical book this year is fresh..... to me, anyway. ajlemm
Well, the judges seem to agree with you on this at the moment. As for being inspired, SCV 's show sure inspires me however.. and a lot. ( haha!)While this is a competition, to me, the lasting impressions some of these shows make on us is just as important.
JoeDz
I believe that Cavies and SCV will push each other .....something SCV has not enjoyed during their last two years in no-man's land. I also believe that The Academy can make the 10 spot..... right now, it's a 6 corps battle to make finals.... What a year (I mean MONTH) this is going to be!!! Edited for auto-correct Incidentally, the guy who invented autocorrect passed away recently Restaurant in Piece Edited July 10, 2016 by JoeDz
DrumManTx
While this is a competition, to me, the lasting impressions some of these shows make on us is just as important. That's why I follow. Things like SCVs opener, makes me forget any kind of score. I will take that any and every day.

N.E. Brigand
Blue Knights encore set makes it very easy to count their number . . . and it's too high: 82 brass +17 battery (8/4/5) +14 pit +39 guard = 152 (+ drum majors) I take it there are alternates? I've always wondered about that; how does it work?
