How do you do that? You can tune brass for another environment/temp?

Yep, change the Hz on the tuners to the internal temp. Can't remember if you put it to 442 or 444, but you can tune them outside so they sound right inside

At one point as I was watching them move the mirrors (around 9:36:50), it looked like a couple moving into a new home.

"How do you want this folding-mirror-thingy dear. Right here?"

"No move it over to the right. No, to the left. Trying flipping it over. No put it back again. How about over there instead."

They tie this show into 2014/pictures and 2015/mirrors.

that's one way to combat it. keeping consistent warm air is a better one.

Well, yeah. Proper technique works. But tuning the horns can at least get you in the ballpark

In the past few years Blue Knights shows have really grown on me, but this year's is having the opposite effect.

Its just so meh! :dry:

I'd imagine it's the same conditions every year in SA. The corps staff ought to know this already and plan ahead.
