Tim K
Yeah, no. No one plays entire songs because it's too hard? The corps of the '60s and '70s did nothing BUT play entire songs. The fact that few corps program their shows that way any more isn't because it's easier. In the 70's at least, you didn't always hear a full song either. Often it was just a refrain or chorus. The reason has more to do with timing. When you have only ten minutes or if you go back in the day 11 1/2 to 13 minutes, one complete song could be about a third of the show. saxfreq1128
All the arguing over scores is pointless to me anymore. You can't put a number on any of the enjoyment for me. 8 (the # of slices in a large pizza) (literally no way to rebut this)
DrumManTx
8 (the # of slices in a large pizza) (literally no way to rebut this) I stand corrected. It also took me way too long to understand what all the numbers were. Lol.
ShouldveMarchedAgeOut
The Bandtastic thing is nice. But these kids can't memorize 30 seconds of music? Wow

Popular Post Lance
I know this will get buried under another 30 pages of discussion, but THANK YOU to every marching member of every corps. This is a remarkable season!

Kevin.
To make matters worse, they both have another show tomorrow in North Carolina... Not worse! I can't wait to see these corps live!

I would rather have three songs fully realized than 9 chop and bop songs.
