luv4corps
OK so obviously THIS judging panel liked OC's show and so they are back on top of Spirit and Mands. Come on judges. Some consistency please. Because I know OC's performance levels don't vary by several points from one night to the next. Yeesh. Cappybara
Today tarps have probably singlehandedly caused more falls and trips than percussion judges probably have this whole season. Where's Corpsband's advocacy group at?

Cadevilina Crown
Speaking of tarps, to this day, every time I watch the end the drum break in Bluecoats 2014 (the Finals performance), a little piece of me dies due to the snare player who trips on the orange tarp and ALMOST falls drum-first, but saves himself at the right time. And I keep thinking to myself, "If he had waited just a little longer to break his fall, the end result would not be pretty." Put simply, tarps do not and will not work in DCI's demanding modern-day visual programs. Edited August 2, 2016 by Cadevilina Crown
