KPinCAL
Really sucks for corps without indoor fields :( Seems totally unfair. This is a HUGE advantage on so many levels ( to corps that have indoor fields) Edited August 13, 2016 by KPinCAL
defeldus2
Yeah, not getting that last full rehearsal block due to weather is huge. Best of luck to all the corps performing tonight, I'll be on the 50 in the 400s giving a standing o to every one of you.
JoeDz
I fixed it for ya!! LMAO. Regardless, I love both corps and for the first time in a long time, another corps is vying for my favorite spot! I will not be disappointed in the placement of ANY of the 12 corps tonight. Further, those of us who watch on DCI Live and then complain about the judging, should realize that there are NINE judges, each of whom knows way more than us, and they are looking at their own component of the total score. Do we disagree with that score? Really? I have two favorites in this contest (ACADEMY and Crown.....that's for THIS year).....but I accept anything the judges say. Personally.....how the **** does Academy not get high GE ???????? Just wondering......
BoyWonder1911
Records for highest scores of each placement at Finals going back to 1972. What's the narrowest margin of victory from 1st-3rd? 1st-4th?
GREENBLUE
Cavies have moved their rehearsal to De Pauw university about an hour southwest of indianapolis. Cloudy but not much rain so far. Nice crowd building. Ensemble starts at 1:15 INSIDE!!!!!!! Beautiful indoor facility. What's the narrowest margin of victory from 1st-3rd? 1st-4th? Without doing thorough research, in 1980, the spread from 1 to 4 was .8. Blue Devils 90.60, 27th 90.25, Bridgemen 90.95, Spirit 89.80. Cute does not take top GE in DCI.

BoyWonder1911
Last season I recall the Blue Devils won without hitting 98, seems to be a trend. The Blue Devils set the bar so high in 2014 that they had to raise the bar of what a 98pt show is. Or maybe last year's and this year's winners just didn't deserve 98 pts, I think it's a combination of both.
