Like maybe the Cadets changed the name of the show and the announcer forgot what it was? Although I would think he has all that written down in front of him, just in case, no? I read somewhere here (Too Many Amps thread?) a recent rule allows corps a 5 minute grace period to fix electronic issues, especially since now lots of stuff are run by laptops/tablets which may need rebooting. JoeDz Posted August 13, 2016 Share Posted August 13, 2016 The 12-10 corps set the starting point.....then you have upward pressure on each sub-caption in 9 through 5 (or 4). I believe the magic number for the top three is 296. What I mean by that is that all three are evenly matched and split captions giving us a blanket finish around 98......., in a year like 2014, where BD swept everything except percussion, they entered into the 100-zone, while the others were in 97-98.
