1st: SCV - All they need to do is clean, clean, clean and I truly believe they will get the gold!

2nd: BD - Easily weakest visual content I've seen from BD in recent years.

3rd: Crown - With solid brass and improved percussion, this corps can do incredible things even with a mediocre design.

4th: Bluecoats - Tilt 4.0. Well rounded corps. I just believe crown performs better with what they have.

5th: Cavies - Another solid and fun show from the green machine.

6th: BAC - Wow, such an improvement, they really sound more like the Cadets than the cadets themselves this year!

7th: Cadets - Oh George...

8th: BK - dare I say TOO esoteric?

9th: Phantom - Honestly have not gotten a good read yet but I have heard that their brassline is weaker.

10th: Blue Stars - A very nicely executed BOA show.

11th: Crossmen - Sorry...

12th: Mandarins - Will there be a new trend of a first time finalist corps claiming a finals spot every year?

13th: Madison

14th: Colts

15th: Academy

16th: BDB

17th: Troopers

18th: Spirit

19th: SCVC

20th: Genesis

21st: Pacific Crest

22nd: OC

23rd: Cascades

24th: Music City

25th: Legends

On this day, and after (trying) to watch last night on FLO: (what they need to do)

1. SCV (layer, layer, layer) the corps I loved as a youth.

2. Crown (layer, turn up the last 1/3 a notch, color guard continued growth)  My hope to win.

3. BD (whatever BD always does - surprise us).

4.  Bloo (clean, continued development of the ballad, clean the feet -white works the best when you move like a machine ) Also my hope to win.

5. BAC (don't stop working)

6. Cavaliers (finish the ending - no live vocalist singing "My Way")

7. Cadets (stop adding to your show - clean it and make what you have work)

8. Blue Knights (minimalist props nice, but need more visual)

9. Phantom (enough with the fantasy - we get it) clean that brass book

10. Blue Stars (haven't seen you in a while, sorry)

11. Crossmen (tone down the synth, contninue cleaning that brass)

12. Madison (visual appealing - enough there - need a clean brass book to get back into finals)

13. Mandarins (haven't seen you, but looking forward to it)

i'm going to put my two cents in a say I hope the blue devils go for the gold, they always produce the top of the line, perfect show.

nobody can even compete

Ah. Apparently there are a few competing.  They aren't that far ahead and there are weeks to go.

Pretty sure the singing there has never been a live vocalist.

5-Cavies -all alone here

6-BAC  -dont like what they did ,not good for DC. but  better than Cadets

7-Cadets -Bad design again , bad design again , Bad design again . Those dresses are terrible.

8, BK - weird design again , weird design again ,weird design again . This is the Hot dog / bathroom slot.

9-Crossmen  -squeeze past Phantom . Clean Music side of sheet.

Nice try. If BD's has the weakest visual content then why in 2nd? Makes no sense.

I will say, though they do not March a lot in the show, their is a LOT of choreography that goes very unnoticed, and that has to go with the progression of DCI. In my opinion doing dance choreography while playing is just as difficult.
