For those who say people are not reveling in seeing the cadets destroyed-just read this post by poppycock. This person and others are malicious people who are out to destroy the cadets, yea, and hop and taking pleasure in it. Ask Kathy santo. She is head of the club. (Evidence you say? How many yea employees now work for her? And they get paid to post on glass door as part of their job for the dog training company.) look at her Facebook from last September. She's been actively trying to destroy hop. Sick! All of you who want cadets gone-be careful what you ask for. And yet today, on fb, there is post after post after post from the members of the 2016 cadets talking about this being the best summer of their lives, learning hard and great life lessons from hop about working hard, never giving up, working till the very end , thanking staff and hop, calling cadets their home. They don't sound miserable at all-but rather very very thankful and proud to be cadets in 2016.

. I went to her FB page (we are not friends and I don't know her) and all I saw were dog photographs and some items supportive of drum corps.

Crossmen and Spirit spent time in there as well... correct?

I get nervous for growing or rejuvenating world class corps that operate under the umbrella of a big brother. It may save some from a certain kind of ruin... but it seems to just replace one bad circumstance for a less obvious one. It works if your corps is Blue Devils B or C.

That's why I hope Academy can get a bright, competent arranger on board in place of Klesch in the coming years.

Hmm, I thought it was subsequent to that. Like in the 00-02 range when Crown was also a part.

(or maybe I'm thinking of Crown and Magic being under the umbrella at the same time, not Crown and BAC)

And I am guessing George remains? Wow. What a dumpster fire.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue in this & so many other issues, for so many more years than people want to be real about, will still be there after the mass exodus.

& regarding the Glassdoor reviews, they are the tip of the iceberg. Glassdoor is only recently available, which actually works more to YEAs favor, as even though past staff & volunteers can still put up a review even from the past, most have not bothered, & just want to but it behind them. Thus, perpetuating the continuing cycle.

HIGHLY disagree there. Klesch's work was a major part of Academy;s success this year.

I say keep him (he IS staying) and build off that.
