2017 Boston Crusaders

It is definitely the Crucible/Salem Witch Trials/something related to Salem and Witches.

Perfect fit for that visual team.  Potter, May, Townsend have all worked on some variant of that show in the high school world.  It is a popular theme with crowd appeal that they will do in their accessible yet sophisticated style a la Crown the last 10 years.

pretty funny to hear all the awkward pauses in these interviews (some on MRT and now here).

Q: So why did you leave XX corps?

A: <awkwardly long pause> well..er...it was...it was time for a change.  yeah that's the ticket.  time for some cha-ching -- i mean -- change.

of course in real life it might have been more like this .

One might assume from what you are writing that the former employers couldn't or wouldn't pay?  Is that it? Are there financial concerns there? Let us know as you seem to be in the know.  I trust there are no issues.

You know, LabMaster, one would almost think that if the folks who were formerly at these other corps enjoyed teaching there, it probably wouldn't have taken much more financial incentive to retain them.  Perhaps times are tough...

Boston is in great hands design wise. The Crown team is tops. I can see BAC jumping to 6-7th.

There are many reasons staff stay as well as leave corps. Some have had a revolving door with some great people. There are always reasons including money, chemistry among staff, even upper management not allowing the inmates to run the asylum. Perspectives can be very different and depends where one sits. The best outsiders can do is wish all concerned well and move forward.

I agree.   And having heard some of the story from both sides,  it probably was time for a change.  But listening to the interviews was entertaining.

It's just fun to watch the BAC homers all sit up and bark if you mention the word money.  WOOF!

It is wonderful that BAC has garnered so much attention from corpsband in this off season.  Fascinating...

Oh, wouldn't that be so grand a thought if it came to fruition. The good news here is that the the overwhelming vast majority of people have in my assessment.

Long time Boston Crusaders alums & fans will recall Frank Morris..  sad to report that he just passed away this morning after a long bout with cancer. Frank was a great guy and a Boston Crusaders Alum. He was a former instructor of several Corps in the Boston area in years gone by, and also was a DCI judge for many years. RIP Frank Morris, and condolences to his family and friends.
