If you can't create a cogent, convincing argument on the topic at hand without leading with your emotional attacks on what I say, then don't bother responding to what I said. Hey Cadets-lovers, let's not go down the path of Corpsband vs. Brasso, just saying. Cadets always try to stay true to a standard of class, no? {This is usually when alumnus/mod MikeD chimes in with a photo of the corps in 71 and 72 doing the Peace Symbol. in that earlier century.}

So you call me "incredibly annoying" and then lecture me about posting a convincing argument without "leading with your emotional attacks" talk about too funny! You just honestly seem incredibly negative regarding the Cadets lately. They aren't superhuman - they (the organization) is just a youth organization trying to provide a safe, fun and rewarding experience for young people -- it's not all about winning, or being cutting edge. They'll be fine. They finished 6th last year (still say they should have been fifth) and they'll be fine. They are one of the top organizations of this type in the world - and I (personally) believe that the "staff shake up" - last year's "issues" and all the rest of it provides nothing but learning and possibilities Change can be an uncomfortable thing for some. The staff was getting extremely stale. I (for one) am excited to see what they bring to the field. But complaining about the possibility of props, the possibility of a show title being released, gosh - it's a little much! IMO.

You would understand if you were in my position. I'll leave the hype machine to you. I'll choose to remain skeptical given the circumstances. So many of you called for an entire change in what they do. And ridiculous decisions led to ridiculous results. So forgive me if I don't share your excitement over a show that we know nothing about, a staff that hasn't proven themselves in the "battlefield" yet, and a corps that went from being a corps I worshiped to being a corps that causes me worry especially when other corps are doing things that drives crowds nuts; Cadets used to be that way. And yes, you ARE incredibly annoying.
