This may be so, but has he changed the past few years? Did he not have the same management style all the times the Cadets won championships? If so, why would changing out design staff this year deliver different results than the many times it has happened before? I’ve worked for a Hoppy, the visionary, entrepreneurial personality. Often what makes them so successful is what makes them difficult to work with as they do burn you out. Oddly, that personality type often tests as a psychopath (google it) which makes sense.
