cixelsyd
1989 was the year of the hose. Cadets watered octaves and entire melodies out of their brass book. Wish there were quality recordings of them, Spirit and others from June of that year. And 27th Lancers were not the only corps to replace an entire song in 1981. Spirit had a whole different closer, and Sky Ryders had a different drum solo with a nice horn feature at the end.

ouooga
Blue Devils 2007, during Pegasus, the original section after the first big hit that featured the trumpet duet and jazzy backup. I never liked the darker mello feature they added midseason. For those wondering, you can hear what I'm talking about on BD's website, the 2007 Pegasus Fantasy early season recording (part I'm referring to starts at 1:18). Shempy
All of Madison's 2007 show Unbound. It may not have been extremely clean or polished, but #### was that an entertaining show, and one I wouldn't mind seeing them revisit some of the pieces from.
