Emotional Seasons?

Just thought of another one: Blue Devils 2015.

Totally agree!

Can you explain why? Emotional is not something I associated with that show so I'm curious what I missed.

Perhaps the show wasn't emotional, but for the Blue Devils, it might have been an emotional season. Placing 4th in prelims, but 1st in finals, after Crown got 1st in both prelims and semis? Sounds a lot like Phantom beating out BD on Finals night in 2008.

The 4th was due to a large penalty. It wasn't real and they knew it.

-Madison 1997 (that crowd reaction was ridiculous)

-Crossmen 2012 (already been mentioned, but first time back in Finals after a long drought)

-Blue Stars 2014

How about the emotion of the dreaded 13th place finishes:

79 Crossmen

83 Crossmen

85 27th Lancers

86 27th Lancers

80 Blue Stars

16 Madison

Just a few that came to mind.

Still, it looked very much that Crown would take the gold on finals night, yet BD prevailed.

Ugh. Especially when, unbeknownst to fans, it signaled the end of the road. 27. Blue Stars.....until they rose again! How about 78 Kilties, 12th place and their last finals appearance. And I don't need to mention 79 Troopers for the opposite reason of 79 Crossmen.
