MikeD
How about the emotion of the dreaded 13th place finishes: 79 Crossmen 83 Crossmen 85 27th Lancers 86 27th Lancers 80 Blue Stars 16 Madison Just a few that came to mind. Cadets 72....would have been 10th without an overtime penalty...missed finals by 0.1.... ugh!

Can't imagine going through that as a member though. They corrected that trajectory in 2013 though.........
CHRISP
Ugh. Especially when, unbeknownst to fans, it signaled the end of the road. 27. Blue Stars.....until they rose again! How about 78 Kilties, 12th place and their last finals appearance. And I don't need to mention 79 Troopers for the opposite reason of 79 Crossmen. I marched in 27th both of those years. It was very sad, not only coming in 13th, but that 27th Lancers would be no more.

DanjrusMcRynky
SCV 93 - Gail Royer's retiring the year before and passing away that summer, mixed with an extremely young corps that pulled it out pretty well by the end.
