BRASSO
I'm not totally opposed to a Corps attempting a redo on a music score they might believe was done before, but perhaps could have been arranged better, so they decide to take another bite of the apple with that musical piece. But its so fraught with risk, that I'm a bit of a skeptic they should attempt such. I also believe.. in fact know... that there is LOTS of music and music genres that are underappreciated and under explored in DCI with these DCI Music Arrangers. Some of this can be explained as the hassles with copywrites and all, but Man, DCI has lots of modern music, contemporary music, that is appealing to the public, but that DCI tends to avoid, as if they would catch Malaria or something if they decided to utilize it in a show. So I tend to like to hear the new stuff, over an attempt to do a redo better than the 1st or the 2nd " do ". freakyswotboy
I'd like to see SCV reboot 'A young persons guide to Drum Corps' as the activity has changed a lot since 1981 when last played. I am sure it could be redone to highlight the differences both past and present.
snare_guy_83
I've posted this before, but I'd like to hear a modern version of William Bolcom's "Machine" (Cavaliers 1998) with electronics. Also, I'd like to see a reboot of Blue Devils 2000 "Methods of Madness" program.

Not that it should matter as enough time has passed, but I don't particularly like the other entrees in the Feast.
kdaddy
Two tunes from 2000 Phantom Regiment should absolutely be performed again and extended: Jeux by Debussy (not nearly enough performed in 2000) and Transfigured Night by Schoenberg. Blue Stars use of Wagner last season had me longing for a restaging of some of the tunes from 1997 Regiment, especially Magic Fire Music. And I generally can't get enough La Mer in my life. But if I could pick one show of theme and musical selections to reboot given the current talent of the corps designers, instructors, and members, it'd be 1996 Crown.

Stunning stunning stunning ballad that has been lost with time it seems.

Plus "Miss Saigon" is back on Broadway.
