wvu80 Posted August 10, 2019 Share Posted August 10, 2019 I've seen quite a few shows live since 1980. I've only been to finals in 1983 Miami and 2006 in Madison. I've also missed a few, the corps don't always tour near where I live and I watch mostly local shows. I would have liked to have seen Blast! the broadway show live! Yes! Blast either came to my hometown, or near by, I can't remember, and I missed it because of work. I saw the Blast production on PBS, and it was awesome! A friend of mine, who marched for Madison Scouts, had a son, who also marched Madison. I think it was the year when Madison wore the all white uniforms, that the color guard reminded me of Blast. I told my friend and he said their staff came from Blast. You could have easily quit the corps before the Finals performance and watched it live from the stands since you were already there. But you chose not to do that.
