With all due respect, that was exactly my intention.

(I do know someone who took a class from Derrida, but I don't pretend to understand deconstructionism myself!)

Well played

It better pay off well. And I suspect they'd be better getting it on the field sooner than later if only to avoid getting too far back in spreads.   That said, Crown has a history of late season changes to augment the theme that work well.  I could tell where Inferno was going early season due to the music and knowing the source but it seemed a good number of people were perplexed until they hit it with the gold and white at the end and then they loved it.  (I still think a midnight translucent blue with gold stars would have been more amazing and theme relevant!)

I suspect that the show will look different this Friday in Muncie after adding a minute to the show and they also have a number of days off after their Florida shows which lead to more being added in plenty of time to clean and keep up with the corps around them.

I could honestly see them trying to move the entire field lines over to try and change the intervals between some.

BDB did something like this three or four years ago, with tarps that turned some yard lines into diagonals or curves.
