I agree.. that's the main outcome here. The shows that have been either canceled, or never got off the ground in the first place this summer, all had different circumstances. One was simply a case of "stuff happens." I don't think any of us can read too deeply into whether any of this is the start of a trend or whatever. Wow till you mentioned it I did not even consider the possibilities. i want to say last year or was it the year before they had to do their show in the rain just to get that score and it was pouring buckets ??? Though if a show isn't selling, better to cancel it than to lose money. Erie cancelled because a corps pulled out, one that has had some challenges this year after an equipment truck accident. One cancelled because the venue bailed on them and they didnt get a lot of time from DCA to secure a new venue.
N.E. Brigand
Cincinnati Tradition got a DCI score in Dublin, OH tonight: 69.850. I got there only just in time to see their entire performance--but from the tunnel. They're bigger and stronger. Someone came up during their show and asked me, in a clear note of astonishment, "Is that Tradition?" and when I confirmed, she said, "Wow!"

Fred Windish
After viewing Atlanta CV on FloMarching Saturday night, my best guess is CV now presenting/performing at an "80-84" level. They've got something going there and have a record of continuing to grow through this month. Will be interesting in Rochester.

MikeN
I admit I'm only tangentally familiar with DCA, but ... White Sabers with the 2nd highest score at the moment? Mike
