I had to search this forum to get some mention of the Stars.

The announcement of their 2018 design team is extremely impressive (Sacktig doing drill.) Great to see that NJhundred is getting back into the game with his rich experience as Cadet alum, DCI judge, and admin. positions at Blue Stars, Regiment, and Carolina Crown. This should continue and prosper the Louisiana Stars legacy as a class act on and off the field.

What does this mean, going national? Does it mean it's a larger tour than they did last year? Does this have something to do with applying for World Class?

sounds like they were a parade corps once that went field competitive and now travels to their competitions just like you do.

Oh, okay. I see now this is an news item spotlighting what they've been doing. I first was thinking maybe it was something new for 2018 getting ready for World Class.

Nice news clipping, good public relations for them.

The article was published on July 5th.  "Go national" simply meant the corps would be going on tour, competing with other corps from all over the nation.
