drumcorpsfever Posted July 13, 2017 Share Posted July 13, 2017 Difference tonight in BAC overtaking Cadets was in brass, and the impact brass has on other captions. In Florida on Monday, BAC took GE Visual, Guard, and Percussion. Tonight, the difference was the brass caption, visual, and music as well. That's what cleaning will do - especially in brass. Make no mistake, BAC will continue to get better as their staff this year has the capablilty to max out their show more so than in year's past. Making the jump from .8 down on Monday, to .2 up tonight is quite impressive. I'd still have BAC and Cadets as a "pick'em" when all is said and done. But, I will also add that I would put the Cavies in the mix as a potential notch in the belt for BAC. BAC could be as high as 5th, but absolutely no lower then 7th in Indy. it's funny, it doesn't seem so long ago that placement was so predictable. Remember?
