Time to join FloMarching?

Recommended Posts

I saw one event so far. Used the app on my iPad and streamed through my apple TV. Video quality was very good and had no bandwidth issues. The audio seemed to have balance problems. Some things were clear and defined, while occasionally the whole ensemble sound would be muddy without detail. It could have been the set-up and team at that show, or it could be a learning curve for FloMarching as a whole. Overall not a bad experience and worth the $$.

you pay by the month - so if there are 15 days left in the month you pay for the whole month and see the remaining shows in that month -

best value is to purchase at beginning of month so you see all the shows for that month -

let's see if DCI or flo surprises us with adding any extra show sales to add to the monthly subscription cost....

Also, the multi-camera work is pretty bad. There are too many extended takes on minor details, while missing major visual impacts. I have yelled at the TV more than once. It reminds me of the awful Finals videos from the early 1980s. I will assume Flo is still learning each of the shows and will improve multi-cam by Finals.

ha ha! kind of like... "OK here comes the drum solo.... oh wait!... kid in the pit getting ready to play triangle! close up on that.... for 30 seconds! with artistic filter star effects!"

If this is correct, that means I will be paying for two months to get finals.  My loss now.  Looks like I will pay the same $100 just like last year.  At least I will get Finals without the additional charge.

This is SO true.  We watched the Minnesota show and it was very good quality, no technical issues.  However, the multi-cam was absolutely terrible!  They kept switching to close-ups when there were great whole field visuals going on.  It was a bit frustrating, IMO.

OK - I was under the thought that if I purchase today it would be good for 30 days from now. Is that not true?

This is true. I bought it at the end of June and my subscription is good until the end of this month.

NOT TRUE

See terms of use: http://www.flosports.tv/terms-and-conditions/

We automatically bill your Payment Method each month on the calendar day corresponding to the commencement of your subscription (each such month, a “Monthly Period”). In the event your subscription began on a day not contained in a given month, we bill your Payment Method on the last day of such month. For example, if you became a paying subscriber on January 31, your Payment Method would next be billed on February 28. If you change your Payment Method, this could result in changing the calendar day upon which you are billed. You acknowledge that the amount billed each Monthly Period may vary due to promotional offers, changes in your subscription, and changes in applicable taxes, and you authorize us to charge your Payment Method for the corresponding amounts. If FloSports changes the subscription fee or other charges for your subscription, we will give you advance notice of these changes by email. However, we will not be able to notify you of changes in any applicable taxes.
