Santa Clara Vanguard - This show feels right, it has IT. Bluecoats - Electric, everything sold me live, and Zappa to the end is probably my single favorite minutes I've ever experienced live. I think they are close to having a really good product, but the ending needs more umph and build to that company front, then they can work out the balances which were bad tonight in the closing minute. That little tarp of the cross can go as well. In some cases just a little less would equal more. Having said that, I really enjoyed Cadets and this is a much better product than last year. Fred Windish Posted July 19, 2017 Share Posted July 19, 2017 You know, it's entirely possible the Cadets performers are just tired, overwrought by all the pressure and not getting a rousing response from the audience. Maybe being worked too hard? We'll never know, but tonight was not as effective as the last time I viewed them. I feel pretty bad after seeing/hearing this.
