The Guard member

The guard member got 1 staple, but has no concussion and is resting today.  One strong young lady.

She dropped her rifle, was picking it up, and hit her head on a bass drum while coming up.

Great to hear.

In case any of you were wondering how bad the Crossmen guard member's injury was...

(Once again, look away if you hate blood)

This is drum corps: Getting hit by a bass and performing the full show with blood running down your face...and then being yelled at by the staff for getting blood on your uniform...

or was that just my corps?

And she carried on without having a "Bela" motivate her.  Well Done.

The Props

They represent different things at different stages of the show.  At the beginning, the corps starts with a question mark and the props are a wall with an opening that they come through.

At other times, they represent a maze, a box, and various roadblocks in life.

The five stages of the show are:  Question, Endless Possibilities, Maze, Struggle, Lightbulb.

Ed Devlin explains show here:  http://www.flomarching.com/video/1219001-ed-devlin-talks-crossmens-2017-production-enigma#.WX-GmoTyvct

In addition to their function to the show, the props hold the guard equipment in their base.

Thanks for the info!!

No, I was merely giving a contrary point of view based on someone else's post.  That was a very Trumpian way of reading my post.

DON'T.

Crossman had a color guard person injured at some point innthr closer. 3 other members carried her off the field, then a staff member joined and she was assisted (half walking on her own) off. Towel held to forhead. That's all I know.
