xandandl
Knowing Steve, he playing host and alum had the uni import the lahbstahs from Maine, the clams from Ipswich, the fruit from Flahrida near Tahmpa, and the ice cream & buttah from Vt.'s own Ben & Jerry's via Cabot Creamery. Not just PB&Js.

Not just PB&Js. Ipswich and Essex are having some troubles right now with contaminated clam beds. It might be best to head a bit further south or a bit north to Nova Scotia. The allowances for what can be dug and sold in MD is less stringent than in MA waters. At one time there were a number of BAC MM's from Quincy who dug clams for tour money.

And they and others from metro Boston would earn money shoveling Fenway Park and other sports stadiums.

The university cafeteria feeding them said they were eating more than any of the college students ate. I saw guard members with two plates come out of the food line. Food choices were pretty good too. Calories burned over the entire rehearsal day of about 10 - 11 hours, most of it moving in drill at this point. Glad to hear this because food last year on tour was terrible and those controlling the money wouldn’t allow ops team to spend money to make sure members ate quality food in appropriate quantities for the level of activity.
