Finally just stood the whole time. Three questions... 1. The couple dancing during the Phantom pieces. Was that "Her" from 89? 2. The solo rim shot in Send In The Clowns. Meant as a tribute to? Gail? 3. Was Hardimon involved at all? Well done Vanguard! Mike To answer your questions. That was her from 89. The solo rim shot was in the original 74 field show and was performed by a 74 snare drummer. Ralph wanted to be involved but was unable to. Extra trivia: The 3 women on the 50 for the bottle dance were members of the original/first bottle dance line and were wearing original uniforms. I think I speak for all SCVAC members what I say we had a blast and only wish we could have performed at more shows this Summer. The highlight of this entire experience for me happened after our performance Friday night. We were outside the stadium and getting out "atta boy" speech from our director. The A corps came up the ramp and listened. When the speech was over our horn line sang their parts for clowns. The A corps came forward, started to work their way into our group, put their arms around us and sang the lyrics. I flipped seeing the original uniforms and wondered if they weren't also original members of the line. Kudos on still being able to get into that formation and not have joints lock up!
