Non-aging out choir members were invited to fine tune secondary talents (brass, hands, guard) for next season. Conclusion is that corps may be heading in different direction from last two years. xandandl
Ok, her resume' reads she started with Music City in Open Class and then spent 3 years in World Class on Cadets podium. But it should also read that she kept the Holy Name Track Team doing their laps during a tough winter, that she took on the mantle of a quasi student-director from April's news until a new director was named by a new board just before ST, and that working with a dynamic horn sgt. and most capable section captains she called forth the loyalty and her own inner leadership so that not one member resigned from the corps due to the situation of the former director who put the whole corps' legacy in jeopardy. She helped inspire a spirit among mms while the show was in flux but their talents and determination were not anything but focused. She evoked the respect and loyalty of staff, new admin., faculty and alumni; she insisted on the corps' traditions and honor being maintained. And she did that with a style and grace that drew the admiration of her fellow podium people across open and world class 2018. Plus, her musicianship is excellent. That's why she earned the Jim Jones Leadership Award. Congratulations, Miss Claire. 1

Can we wait until the 2019 creative staff is announced and maybe meets once or twice before we announce rumors? Exactly The shadow effect cast by the C2 members is becoming longer and here sets an interesting palette on the field which some designer somewhere will try to re-duplicate.
