The most subjective caption of them all has the most weight. I agree with the others who have said they wish a change was made to lower the impact of GE, and raise the point value of visual and music. Yes, but the judges weigh GE more now than the value of visual and music (IMO) so you need to design your show that is full of GE 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I wouldn't say it's incredibly consistent. Last year at world prelims, the GE scores were all over the place with the Cavaliers (5th at the time) getting 2nd by one of the music effect judges and 6th from the other. That's a pretty big gap in opinions. By finals, yes, they may have dialed it in, but still. Just looking between those 3 days the scores were pretty non consistent minus BD and SCV.
