Genesis v.s. Music City

After noticing that Music City finished 24th at the DCI World Championships and that Genesis finished 23rd right above them, I began to wonder who might score higher because they are right next to each other from a scoring standpoint. Attached is a poll and please vote for the corps that you think will score and place higher than the other.

My thought competitively thw two will be evenly matched but if I had to choose one, I'd say Genesis would have the advantage since they already have a full tour under their belt.

Genesis made a big step up visually this year. I volunteered for them in ‘16 during their last year in OC, and the increase in individual demand in WC in ‘17 was pretty dramatic. Music City I’m sure will go through that this year.

At the moment, I’d give the edge to Genesis; I really do feel they’re on the cusp of moving on up.
