Perhaps.... sometimes, it takes a while for a dam to fully break.  LOL.

I don't know. Doesn't the dam break when the water first flows through? 

Seems to me, if they're calling her a member, there's no going back. Either the dam has broken. Or someone picked the wrong word in a press release.

The Facebook announcement said “featuring” which would make me think she will be used much the same way a young woman was used in “Carmen.” Perhaps this is a step towards going coed, but it may be just a one year choice.

Dams can leak for weeks, months... water flowing through.... without breaking.  LOL. 

So... regarding the semantics of "member" or not... we'll find out at some point, right?

Until then... perhaps we can just enjoy this moment and wish this young woman well?

If the Scouts do eventually go co-ed, should they retroactively grant membership status to the female featured performers of 1971 and 2005?
