Yep, and it was ridiculous for PSU to be removed from competition then, also.

but Michigan State hasn't received nearly the abuse Penn State did.

Not just the "organization".  What will be the reaction among contracted members and their parents?

My daughter is scheduled for camp this weekend. If we still decide to attend, I will be there 24/7 as well.

Uhhh...no   You have to qualify for bowl games.   They played the regular season.

they were eligible under the rules both seasons.

and yet MSU gets nothing.

Since PSU was removed from playing in a post season bowl, should Cadets be removed from championships?
This has a lot of the Bill Cosby saga in it. True or not, the ramifications like the possible loss of sponsorships, parents pulling kids from their programs, schools pulling out of YEA band shows, etc., could be very damaging.

If the board did cover up, not saying they did but some of the board has been there for quite a while, could they also be facing charges?
So irresponsible in so many ways.

PSU was NOT eligible for bowl games, despite winning enough games during the regular season to normally be considered eligible.  There is no reason to argue this fact.

The very first head coach of Penn State football, back in the 1890s?

George HOSKINS.

It was eight months between the Sandusky scandal hitting the headlines (Nov 2011) and the NCAA finishing their independent investigation and sanctioning Penn State (Jul 2012). Give it time. MSU should (deservedly) be buried, too.
